Please take note of our Terms and Conditions:
it's important because by using our site or buying from us  you agree to be bound by them.


Definitions: 'we' are the artists and sole proprietors Peter and Jane Dixon; 'you' are the customer; 'products' or 'goods' are the items we make and sell to you.
We will make every effort to deal fairly and honestly with you and to try our best to solve any problem that you may encounter in dealing with us.
1. All artworks (images and objects howsoever presented) in this website are the original work of the artists Peter Dixon and Jane Dixon (the artists) and we retain the copyright. All rights are reserved including intellectual property rights. Purchase of our products does not imply purchase of copyright.  The objects or images or text may not be copied or reproduced in any form without written permission from the artists.
2. We offer a full refund for faulty goods returned. with written reason for return, within 10 days of dispatch of goods (day of dispatch counts as one day, day of return counts as one day) as well as for UK postage charges incurred in returning the goods, provided the goods are returned in original packaging using standard 2nd class post. We will refund postage to overseas clients to a MAXIMUM of £5.00 (GBP) per product. Faulty goods shall be defined as those that either: do not meet a suitable standard of workmanship by comparison with similar products in our range or are unfinished, un-fired, not what was ordered or significantly damaged.
N.B. Returning goods does not imply any liability on our part nor oblige us to provide any refund until we have satisfied ouselves that the fault is ours.
We offer either an exchange or customer credit for goods returned in original packaging, unused and in perfect condition within 10 days of despatch. Cost of return of goods is to be incurred by the customer. We ask that you allow us to nominate the carrier.  Should you wish to exchange returned goods, we will charge for cost of re-delivery.
Orders for special products - i.e. personalised or specially commissioned - cannot be refunded once ordered and paid for unless they should prove faulty (see 2.) Should you decide a special product is not required you shall return it within 10 days of despatch (cost of carriage is the customer's liability) and any refund will be a MAXIMUM of 50% of the purchase price once the goods have arrived at our studio in perfect condition.
3. Over and above any refund, credit or exchange given at 2. we shall not be liable to you for any direct, indirect or consequential losses or damage howsoever caused arising from the purchase, use, disposal or employment of our products. We shall not be liable to you for the costs of: damage to decorative finishes, fixtures, fittings or furnishings; damage or destruction of a product or products (including frost damage); inconvenvenience or dissapointment; administrative or other costs, including those of third parties.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
4. We make every effort to maintain a consistent product and to illustrate the products as accurately as possible within the constraints of available technology. The handmade nature of our products means that small variations occur and all measurements are approximate. By accepting these terms and conditions you also accept that the product(s) we supply to you may vary slightly from any illustration on our website or a similar product you may have seen elsewhere and is not a valid reason to reject goods.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
5. We shall have no liability to you for any failure or delay in supplying or delivering products, nor for any damage or defect to products supplied or delivered, that is caused by actions, events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including, without limitation, power failures, strikes or industrial disputes, severe weather conditions, failure of third parties to fulfill contracts.
6. Goods will normally be dispatched within 14 days. They are hand made items and are made in small batches, often to order. If items are in stock they will be dispatched within 48 hours.
14 days is the maximum dispatch time: special orders and personalised items will take the longest time as they are not part of our normal production and will be made from scratch once the order is confirmed. If timing is critical to the order you should request stock availability or an estimated date of despatch using the
Contact Us form.
7. We reserve the right to discontinue production of or alter the appearance of our products and website without notice from time to time.
If any part of these conditions is invalid, illegal or unenforceable  (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the validity,  legality or enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected. This contract shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law.
